Stephen Vincent Jackson, Jr.

Stephen "Steve" Vincent Jackson Jr., 71, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at University Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on January 11, 1951, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of Stephen Jackson Sr. and Margaret (Gilmore) Jackson-Jordan. Steve was united in marriage to Linda Adkins on June 4, 2005, in Jefferson City. He attended Jefferson City High School. Over the years he was the owner/operator of several local businesses; Vickers Automotive, Heisinger Automotive, and Jackson Automotive. He was also employed at Blackwell's Garage and RC Cola. Steve enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He loved his animals but most of all he cherished his grandchildren and making memories with his family. Steve is survived by his wife, Linda; mother, Margaret Jordan; sons, Stephen Vincent Jackson III, Brian Jackson and Jarad Roark (Vanessa); daughter, April Miller (Nick); sisters, Brenda Hubbard and Bonnie Chambers; brothers, Terry Jenkins (Betsy) and Jerry Jenkins (Diane); and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen V. Jackson Sr.; one son, Brad Roark; and brother, Joseph Jenkins. Friends will be received on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev.
