Erin DeAnn Williams

Erin DeAnn Williams, 47, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on July 6, 1975, in St. Charles, Illinois, a daughter to Gerald D. and Rosemarie (Secor) Williams. Erin was a 1993 graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield, Missouri. She would go on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in History with a double minor in Library Sciences and English. Erin worked for over 20 years for the State of Missouri, working her way up to supervisor for the Department of Employment Security. She made countless special friends during her time working for Employment Security. Erin was an avid reader. She would read anything and everything she could get her hands on. She was a member of numerous book clubs. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and keeping in touch with her friends online. She was extremely family oriented and had deep love for the people in her life. Erin was especially proud of her nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to know her. Erin is survived by her mother, Rosemarie; brother, Sean Williams (Twyla); nieces, Faith and Emma Browner, Alysha Williams, and Ashlyn Trogdon; nephews, Donnie Williams and Bryson Trogdon; great-nephew, Hugo Browner; aunts, Joan Mallory and Patricia Jordan; uncles, Bill Secor (Pat) and David Mueller; cousins, Jill, Jackie, Jen, Sam, Katelynn, and Tim; and many additional cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Williams. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. A graveside service will take place on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion Cuba Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
