Steven (Steve) Wayne Kliethermes, 59, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022. He was born November 4, 1963, to Norbert and Sandy (Roark) Kliethermes in Jefferson City, Missouri. Steve was united in marriage to Cindy Ralston, on September 14, 1985, in Jefferson City, who survives at the home. Steve had a passion for aviation. He served as an SPC/E4 of the Missouri National Guard’s 867th Aviation Unit from 1982 through 1991 where he supervised a crew that flew a Huey helicopter. Most recently Steve was taking flying lessons to obtain his pilot’s license. Over the years he made many cherished memories with family and friends boating on the Osage River, coaching his children’s sports teams, and spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored. Steve was also a skilled woodworker and operated a small upholstery business. Throughout his life Steve worked for various trucking and excavating companies. If you rode in a car with him, he was sure to point out where he set trusses or delivered a load. Those who knew him well would agree AskSteve.com held all the answers.
