Troy Patrick Grellner, age 27, of Jefferson City, formerly of Linn, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at his residence. Troy was born on November 25, 1994, in Jefferson City, a son to Michael and Connie (Dudenhoeffer) Grellner of Linn. Troy was a 2013 graduate of Linn High School. He was a 2018 graduate of Lincoln University with a BS in History. He was employed as a job developer with MERS Goodwill Career Center in Jefferson City. Troy was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn. He enjoyed playing video games, cornhole, deer hunting, and watching football especially his favorite team the Kansas City Chiefs.Troy was a history and movie buff and loved hanging out with his friends. He was always the life of the party and enjoyed making people laugh. Troy was a very caring person always willing to help another person out. In addition to his parents, Troy is survived by: one brother, Tyler Grellner of Linn; two sisters, Amber Grellner of Jefferson City and Autumn Grellner of Linn; paternal grandfather, Frederick Grellner of Linn; maternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Dudenhoeffer of Linn; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Veronica Grellner. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. Colin Franklin as the Celebrant. Private family interment will be in the Wright Cemetery near Linn.
