Crystal Danielle Smith

Crystal Danielle Smith, 46, of Russellville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 18, 2022, at her home. She was born on September 13, 1975, a daughter of Carl and Mildred "Ginger" (Still) Smith. She had many artistic and creative talents, one of them being her very unique previous business, Goldilocks, a one-of-a-kind salon designed specifically for kids in Columbia, Mo. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and anything involving the outdoors. She didn't hesitate to stand up for what was right and organized several fundraisers for nonprofit organizations. She graduated from Cole R-1 in Russellville. Crystal was an animal lover, advocate, and was active in pit bull rescue. She was involved in two democratic presidential campaigns. Most of all, Crystal cherished spending time with her family. Crystal is survived by her children, Chyna Taylor and Skyler Smith; parents, Carl Smith Sr.; siblings, C. Dawn Plaster (James), Stephanie Williams (Dave), Carl D. Smith Jr. (Giselle) and Lorinda Sorensen. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Treyton Smith, and her mother, Mildred "Ginger" Smith. Friends will be received from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Weber-Millard Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
