Judy Kay Reed

Judy Kay Reed, 68, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at her place of employment. She was born on March 28, 1953, in California, Mo. to Albert Leo Reed and Jane Gladys Light Reed, both of whom preceded her in death. She was raised at Centertown, Mo. but lived most of her adult life in Jamestown. Judy was a graduate of Jamestown High School from the class of 1973. Through the years Judy worked at several care facilities in the area, but for the last seven years she was employed by River City Living Center of Jefferson City where she worked in the laundry. Judy enjoyed doing word search puzzles, eating out and playing crazy eights with her sister. Her favorite color was blue. Judy was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church located in the Marion area. Judy is survived by a sister, Helen Diane Reed of Jefferson City, Mo.; brother, Billy Gene Reed of Williamsburg, Mo.; three nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. -12 noon with a memorial service following at 12 noon.
