Carole Beth (Andres) Bowlin

Carole Beth (Andres) Bowlin, 90, of California, Mo., passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the California Care Center in California, Mo. She was born on September 21, 1931, in California, Mo., the daughter of Albert C. Andres and Amelia Eva (Baker) Andres, both of whom preceded her in death. Carole Beth was a 1949 graduate of Aurora High School in California, Mo. She was united in marriage on February 25, 1951, at the California U.C.C. to Jack Bowlin who survives of the home. Carole Beth worked for the Moniteau National Bank for nine years then worked as a secretary for the California U.C.C. for 22 years. She was a very supportive lifelong member of the California U.C.C. Carole Beth was very involved in her children’s school life and active in countywide charities. She had a deep love for her family and community. Survivors include one son, Tom Bowlin (Clara) of Rothville, Mo.; two daughters, Lou Ann Howard of California, Mo., Nan Dunham (Ron) of Richmond, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Kyle Bowlin (Jasmine), Ross Bowlin (Julie), Dwight Bowlin (Britney), Kent Howard (Gerri), Philip Howard (Amy), Melissa Larimore (Sean), Angela Grammer (Chad), Myranda Agnew (Ryan); 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rubylee Smith. Visitation was held on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the California U.C.C. Sanctuary. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the California U.C.C. Sanctuary with a graveside service following at the California Evangelical Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Russell Cobb. assisted by Rev. Jeremy Anderson. Arrangements were under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services of California, Mo.
