Lewis Edouard “Highwayman” Trepanier Jr., 47, of Eugene, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 9, 1975, in Effingham, Illinois, the only son of Lewis Edouard and Marilyn (Hutson) Trepanier Sr. He was united in marriage to Christina Linker on June 28, 1997, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. Lewis attended high school in Illinois. At a young age, he began his career as an over-theroad truck driver. He gained his nickname, “Highwayman”, which was his trucking CB handle; he was dedicated to his career and successfully and remarkably drove well over 1 million miles of highway. Lewis loved driving and working on hot-rods and Peterbilt semi-trucks. He enjoyed camping and fishing, especially around the Mark Twain National Forest area. He also loved relaxing in his garage while barbequing and listening to music. Most of all, Lewis enjoyed spending time with his family, children, and grandsons, who were his pride and joy. He will be missed immensely by those who had the privilege to know him. Lewis is survived by his wife and soulmate of over 25 years, Christina; two daughters, Brittany Trepanier (Hayden), and Brooke Trepanier; grandsons, Brayson Lewis Trepanier (Papa’s little buddy), Lawson Michael Trepanier, and Trenton Edouard, who is due in November 2022; parents, Lewis and Marilyn Trepanier; sisters, Nickie (Ian) Weislocher, Cindi Barlow-Rushing, and Candy Hutson. He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Trepanier. Friends will be received from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. A prayer service will take place at 4:00 p.m., with burial to follow.
