Edith “Lolly” Dolores Robbins, 82, of New Bloomfield, Mo., died peacefully after her battle with leukemia, surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren. Lolly was born September 21, 1939, in Watson, Mo. to Ernest and Mildred (Bemberger) McDonald. Lolly retired from the Callaway County Assessor’s Office. She loved her animals, feeding the birds, and sitting on her front porch with her neighbors. She is survived by her children: Lyla (Shelly) Robbins of Fulton, Mo., Chris Loge of Sturgeon, Mo., Jennifer Whittington of Fulton, Mo., David (Roseanne) Rufenacht of Orange Park, Fla., Kelly Vaughan of Biloxi, Miss., Eric Robbins of Fulton, Mo.; eight grandchildren: Jason Potts, Shauna Magrath, Will Whittington, Ian Whittington, Ryan Oberlag, Michael Vaughan, Erika Robbins, Dillon Robbins; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved brother, Gary McDonald, and her son, Richard Robbins. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of the hospice nurses at Compassus for the excellent care and friendship. Per Lolly’s wishes, a service will not be held.
