Delores Mae Butler Kintner, 66, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022. The world lost a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born on November 28, 1955, to Voyd E. Butler and Opal V. Atterberry Butler. She was married to Randy Means from 1971 to 1989, who, along with his wife Dolores, remained good friends for life. Together they had two daughters, Stephanie and Jodi. She married Scott Kintner in 1992. Together they enjoyed quilting, baking "sheep cakes," traveling, and time with their family. She worked for Associated Building Center for 10 years and later worked for and retired from Scholastic, Inc. Delores is survived by her loving husband Scott; her sister, Barbara Coleman; her daughters, Stephanie Woodruff (Donald) and Jodi Nichols (John); bonus daughter, Lorie Jaegers; step-daughter, Amber Kintner; six grandchildren, Kerensia Moore (Max), Kacee Sullens (Nick Chrisman), Jesse Thomas, Margarite Fowler, Richard Nichols and Laci Nichols; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Marion Butler, William Butler, Virginia Butler Johnson, Betty Butler Harrison and Trudy Butler. The family will hold a private memorial service on Friday, July 29, 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family of Delores Kintner asks to please flush cigarettes.
