Geneva Lea Foster

Geneva Lea Foster, 59, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. She was born on July 3, 1963, in Cole County, a daughter of the late Clyde Allen Clark Sr. and Peggy Louise Clark. Geneva was united in marriage on December 5, 1983, in Austin, Texas to John Foster. She was a student at Linn State Tech and obtained an associate’s degree. Geneva worked at Solid Rock Church as an administrative assistant. She also played the piano for the church. Geneva loved playing the piano, guitar, and even singing. She was artistic and loved to create pieces of art. She had an eclectic taste in movies and music, she was especially a fan of Abbott and Costello. Her heart was always with her children and siblings. Geneva is survived by her husband, John Michael Foster; sons, Benjamin Caleb Foster and Jonathan Zachary Foster; siblings, Jeff Clark (Tami), Debbie Puckett (Frank Sr.), and Christina Clark (Brian); two grandchildren, Serenity Rayne Foster and Jonathan Benhiana Foster. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Allen Clark Sr. and Peggy Louise Clark; grandparents, Victor and Viola Clark, and Roy and Cleo Clark; and Clyde “Jay” Allen Clark Jr. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Solid Rock Church with Pastor Joe Skiles officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Solid Rock Church.
