Delemar "Del" Noel (Banker) Ehrhardt, 88, of Lohman, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 6, 1933, in Flushing, New York, a daughter of the late Robert (Sr.) and Helen (Wisniewski) Banker. She was united in marriage on October 23, 1954, to Artwin "Art" Ehrhardt, who survives of the home. Del was a 1951 graduate of Bayside High School in Bayside, New York. She completed her Registered Nurses training at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, New York, in 1954. She was a registered nurse at various hospitals around Jefferson City and was a public health nurse for the Cole County Health Department. She received her bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from St. Joseph College of Maine. She retired as a registered nurse from the Missouri Department of Health and Social Services in 1997. After her retirement she served as Parish Nurse for Trinity Lutheran Church until 2016. Many of her interests focused on the needs of others, such as Heisinger Bluffs, Trinity's Blind Mission, LWML, and other church and community activities. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends: dinner gatherings, graduations, and other events such as weddings. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and anything involving history, playing pinochle or dominoes, and seeing a puzzle to completion. Del is survived by her loving husband of 67 years: Art; daughters: Denise (Keith) Ziegelbein of Lohman, Danielle Rakow of Lohman, Donita (Chevis) Smith of Jacksonville, Florida, and Dorinda (Vaughn) Zacharias of Kathryn, North Dakota; sister: Carolyn Doll of New Jersey; sister-in-law: Kathy Banker of Wyoming; 12 grandchildren: Nikol (Trevor) Wendt, Adam (Cara) Ziegelbein, Samuel (Annie) Ziegelbein, Chevis Smith Jr., Vance (Maria) Zacharias, Chris (Crystal) Smith, Verlin Zacharias, Donovan (Brittany) Zacharias, Todd (Erin) Rakow, Cameron Smith, Kelly Rakow, and Carlton Smith; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert H. Banker Jr.; brother-in-law, Richard "Richie" Doll; and son-in-law, Edward "Ed" Rakow. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson City with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Calvary Lutheran High School, both of Jefferson City.
