Carl Rosenmiller Jr.

Carl Rosenmiller Jr., 82, of California, Mo., passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, at California Care Ctr. He was born on July 23, 1940, in McGirk, Mo., the son of Carl John Rosenmiller Sr and Elsie (Holland) Rosenmiller, both of whom preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on July 1, 1962, in Jefferson City, MO to Lucille Strobel. Carl worked for the Jefferson City Parks & Rec. Dept. for many years. He was a member of the Centertown Bapt. Church. Carl liked his farm and taking care of his cattle and pigs. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his coffee shop buddies and enjoyed working with his loving wife at Sweet Buy and Buy store. He also enjoyed attending the local dirt track races. Carl is survived by his wif, Lucille Rosenmiller of the home; son, Bruce Rosenmiller of California, Mo.; two daughters, Brenda King of California, Mo. and Bridget Needy of Tipton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon, funeral services will follow at 12 noon, all at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. Roy Barnard. Burial will follow at the California City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Children Hospitals c/o the funeral home.
