Dawn Michelle Herigon

Dawn Michelle Herigon, 40, of St. Thomas, Missouri, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 11, 2022. She was born on September 10, 1981, in Jefferson City, a daughter of the late Leon Bruemmer and Catherine (Maasen) Bruemmer. She was united in marriage on October 23, 2010, in St. Thomas, Missouri to Michael Herigon. She was a 2000 graduate of Blair Oaks High School in Wardsville. Dawn then went on to get her Certified Nurse's Aide license. She worked as a nurse's aide for several years at St. Elizabeth Nursing Home, as well as, Golden Living Nursing Home in Jefferson City. The job she enjoyed most of all was being a stay-at-home mom. Dawn enjoyed fishing, gardening her flowers, feeding hummingbirds, cheering on her kids at their ball games, and spending time with her loving family. She never met a stranger and would welcome anyone with open arms. Most of all she enjoyed being right at her husband Mike's side. Dawn is survived by her husband, Michael Herigon; sons, Jordan Wieberg, Darrell Herigon; daughter, Chelsey Herigon; sisters, Tammy (Kyle) Wagner, Amy (Nathan) Hagenhoff; brothers, Eric Bruemmer (Roxie), Alan Bruemmer; in-laws, Darrell "Casper" and Myra Herigon; sister-in-law, Debbie (Adam) Schulte; brothers-in-law, Lawrence (Jamie) Herigon, Patrick Herigon; plus numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Catherine Bruemmer; grandparents, Leonard and Mildred Bruemmer, Leo and Angeline Maasen; aunt, Sharon Rains; brothers-in-law, James Herigon and Robert Herigon. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in St. Thomas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in St. Thomas, Missouri with Father Leonard officiating. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Parrish Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Dawn Herigon c/o Michael Herigon.
