David Matheis

David Matheis, 59, of Russellville, Mo., passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Mo. He was born October 19, 1962, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of the late Wayne and Dorothy (Lindsey) Matheis. On May 12, 1990, in Camdenton, Mo., he was united in marriage to Lora (Crall) Matheis, who survives of the home. Dave was formerly employed as a paramedic and currently employed with Electronics Unlimited of Osage Beach, Mo. He was a member of Lake Ozark Fire Protection District, Osage Beach Fire Protection District, the Osage River Antique Power Association, and was President of the Olean Buffalo Club. He enjoyed scrapping, working on his tractors and playing with his grandchildren. Other survivors include: children, Kristen of Georgia; Shelly of Florida; Michael of Russellville, Mo. and Rebecca of Russellville, Mo.; grandchildren, Gavin and Lauryn; aunt, Norma Tubbs of High Point, Mo.; mother-in-law, Shirley Crall of Eldon, Mo.; and daughter-in-law, Amy. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo. Funeral Service will be Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at High Point Baptist Church with Rev. Heber Mena officiating. Burial will follow at Enloe Cemetery. Memorials in his name are suggested in care of the family. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
