Shelly Williams Chick

Shelly Williams Chick, 52, of Mexico, passed away Sunday April 3, 2022, at Boone Hospital in Columbia. Shelly was born in Mexico, Missouri on July 30, 1969, the daughter of Ronald and Connie (Drouillard) Williams. On October 23, 1998, in Jefferson City, she married Eric Alan Chick who survives. Shelly enjoyed researching genealogy. She had a soft spot for dogs and cats, especially rescue animals. She worked at several nursing homes over the years as a CNA and CMT, and she had worked at Mosers in the deli where she made many friends. She had also spent a brief period of time in the US Air Force. In addition to her husband Eric, survivors include her mother, Connie Williams, of Mexico; stepfather Howard Dollens, of Mexico; one daughter, Tiffany Stewart and husband Larry of Holts Summit; two grandchildren, Colson James Stewart and Piper Elaine Stewart; father and mother-in-law, Curtis and Brenda Chick, of Jefferson City; four brothers, Shaun Williams, of Mexico, Dakota Williams, of Mexico, Derric Dollens, of Centralia, and Scott Dollens, of South Carolina; one sister, Bri Goff, of Mexico; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A visitation to celebrate her life will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday April 8, 2022, at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico. There will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be given to the family for an education fund for the grandchildren. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N.
