Joseph L. Knife

Joseph L. Knife (Joe), 39, of Independence, Mo., formerly of Jefferson City, died Monday, April 4, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. Joe was born May 1, 1982, the son of Janet Knife. He attended Jefferson City Public Schools. He was married to Katy Hunter, who survives of the home. Joe was employed as an aviation mechanic, and had just completed a course of certification in that field. Joe lost his mother at an early age, and he and his brother, Travis, were raised by their grandparents, Billy & Donna Knife, Jefferson City. Joe is survived by: his wife, Katy; daughter, Kaylee, of Ashland, Mo.; step-daughter, Emma, of Ashland, Mo; Brother, Travis (Meghan), of Gilbert, Ariz; Grandparents; Billy & Donna Knife; Niece & Nephew, Elayne & Logan Knife, of Gilbert, Ariz.; and other friends and relatives. No funeral services are planned at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held in Independence, Mo. at a later date.
