Leo Frederick DeBroeck, 92, of Wichita, Kan., died Saturday, October 30, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Phelan of Wichita, Kan.; daughter, Elly (Nick) Russell of Shawnee, Kan.; sons, Michael (Monique) DeBroeck and Jim DeBroeck, both of Wichita, Kan.; son-in-law, Marshall (Diane) Porter of Benton, Kan.; grandchildren, Josh (Allison) Russell of Gardner, Kan.; Kayla Russell of Shawnee, Kan.; Ethan Porter, Bethany Wolff, Devyn Porter, Campbell Wolff, all of Benton, Kan.; Ian Rincon, Collin DeBroeck, both of Wichita, Kan.; Ariana Rangel of Chicago, Ill.; great-grandchild, Lacey Rothwell of Gardner, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo G. and Mary Ann DeBroeck; wife, Mary Diane DeBroeck; daughter, Emily Porter; sisters, Berniece (Don) Block, Angeline (John) Scheper; brothers, Edward (Harriet) DeBroeck, Raymond (Maxine) DeBroeck, Fred (Laura) DeBroeck, Carl DeBroeck. Rosary will be at 5:30 p.m, Thursday, November 4, 2021, with Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Wichita, Kan.
