Myra Kay Schaffner

Myra Kay Schaffner, 66, of Dixon, died Saturday, March 27, 2021, in the University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia. Born July 29, 1954, at Waynesville, a daughter of Willard and Mercedes (Irwin) Simpson. She was married June 10, 1983, to James Schaffner who preceded her in death on March 21, 2020 Survivors include: Her mother, Mercedes Simpson; her children: Melinda O'Neal and Jason (Sue Ann) Schaffner, all of Dixon; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 12 - 1 p.m., with the funeral at 1 p.m. all on Thursday, April 1, 2021, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon. Interment in the West Fairview Cemetery.
