Richard Sr. B. "Rick" Heet

Richard B. "Rick" Heet Sr., 68, of St. Martins, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 10, 1952, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of the late Frank and Jean (McLerran) Heet Sr. He was united in marriage on October 5, 1985, to Cheryl A. Stokes, who survives at the home. Rick graduated from Jefferson City High School and worked for Socal Construction for nearly 40 years. He loved to read, fish, hunt, camp and play cards. Most of all, he loved being at the river with his family. Rick is survived by his wife, Cheryl Heet, St. Martins; his children, Matthew Heet, Maria Heet and Rick Heet II; his siblings, Frank (Nene) Heet Jr., Debbie Curtis and Roger (Brenda) Heet; his grandchildren, Skyler, Connor, and Summer Heet, Chelsea Tripp; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law and sister, Chuck and Sharon (Heet) Stokes. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 2:30 p.m. with Deacon David Thompson officiating. Private family burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Facial coverings along with social distancing are required.
