Shawn Dale Crocker, 46, of Aurora, Colo., passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021, peacefully in his bed at home. Shawn was born on January 25, 1975, in Blythville, Ark. to Larry and Judy Crocker. He completed his college education and went on to have a very fulfilling career as the Director of Operations in Pharmaceutical Specialty. He went on to wed the love of his life, Caitlin on June 5, 2011, in Chesterfield, Mo. Shawn was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hike, kayak, camp, and ride his all-terrain UTV. Shawn D. Crocker was the kind of man people wanted to know. Never the one to turn away from a friend in need, he spent his 46 years on earth impacting those around him through love, compassion, and always humor. Though he struggled with a rare Lymphoma for the last three years, he did so gallantly and gracefully. It was often said that even at his sickest times Shawn would have a punchline prepared and delivered before you fully entered the room. Man could Shawn make you smileand laugh. You always left a visit with Shawn feeling better than before you arrived. His friends were lifelong regardless of when they entered his life, and if a man's life is measured by the people he deeply impacted, then Shawn led the life of a king. Shawn leaves behind a wife and four-year-old son. Shawn's world was his son, Braden. He truly was the world's greatest dad. He will be missed and remembered and we will see him again. He will be forever remembered fondly by his extended family: mother, Judy Crocker of Russellville, Mo.; his sister, Renee (Chad) Daniel, and their son (Shawn's nephew), Jesse Daniel. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dale Crocker; grandparents, Wilbert and Viola (Jungmeyer) Rockleman and Jesse Jr. and Virginia (Strobel) Crocker. Services for Shawn will be held at a later date to be determined, but will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church in Russelleville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, Shawn wished any contributions to be given to his son Braden and to go towards a college fund for him. Please send any contributions to Braden Crocker in the form check or contact his wife to discuss direct donation to Braden's account.
