Carol Puckett

Carol Puckett, 51, of Eugene, Mo., passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She was born March 15, 1970, in Landstuhl, Germany, the daughter of Jerald and Nancy Marie ( Burchard) Huntsinger. On October 9, 1993 in Marys Home, Mo., she was united in marriage to Rodney David Puckett who survives of the home. Carol was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Marys Home, Mo. Carol passed peacefully with her family surrounding her and was fortified with the last Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. She loved spending time with her family and dearly loved her Wiener Dogs. Other survivors include: Her children, Amber Backues (Garrett) of Eugene, Mo.; Nathan Fuzzy Puckett of Eugene, Mo.; Autumn Giggy Puckett of St. Louis, Mo.; Noah J. Puckett (fiance Mattie Shannon) of Eugene, Mo.; Allyssa Ooppie Puckett of Eugene, Mo.; Abbygail Dewy Puckett of Eugene, Mo; Ava Ceann Puckett of Eldon, Mo.; five half grandchildren, Landon, Elaina, and Emory Backues, Kaiden and Daxtyn Scurlock, and Samson Puckett on the way in December; sister, Christine Dove of Lebanon, Mo.; parents, Jerald Huntsinger of Des Moines, Iowa and Nancy Marie Huntsinger of Tuscumbia, Mo. Grandma, Gladys Grandma Didi Burchard preceded her in death. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Marys Home, Mo. with the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Alexius Ekka officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery. Memorials in her name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
