Richard Lee White

Richard Lee White, 85, formerly of Holts Summit, Mo., passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, Tenn. Richard was born on July 17, 1935 in Moberly, Mo., the son of Johnson and Delphine (Hudson) White, who preceded him in death. On January 20, 1957, he was united in marriage in Raymondville, Texas to Betty (Loftis) White, who preceded him in death on May 6, 2018. He was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City, Mo. Richard was an outdoorsman, an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and building RC boats. He spent many hours with the coffee group at McDonalds in Holts Summit, loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: one son, Tim White of Seymour, Tenn.; one daughter, Megan Isenburg (David) of Blountville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Chrystal Brewer and Jessica Muncey; and four great-grandchildren, Cami Brewer, William Dunn, Abigal Dunn and Nia Dunn. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sherri White, and one brother, Jerry White. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit, Mo. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Karen Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
