Dale Lee Hunt

Dale Lee Hunt, 81, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center. Dale was born on May 6, 1939, in Mexico, the son of John Lee and Evelyn (Pasley) Hunt. He married Judy Wright on January 13, 1957, in Victoria Springs, Miss. Dale never met a stranger. He enjoyed playing pool, cards, drinking coffee and taking cat naps. Dale loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Judy, of the home; two sons, Marty (Kelly) Hunt of Jefferson City and Jimmy (Shelly) Hunt of Mexico; three daughters, Patti Bell of St. Petersburg, Fla., Merri Lea (Bruce) Marshall of Lee's Summit and Lori (Aaron) Harlan of Mexico; 11 grandchildren, Molly (Brad) Armstrong, Katey Hunt, Baillee Bell, Heather (Andy) Oldham, Cory Marshall (Lisa Tomasu), Tanna (D.J.) Whitworth, Cheyenne (Nathan) Yeager, Cassidy Hunt (Justin Sambo), Joshua Harlan (Bri Voelker), Caleb Harlan and Noah Harlan; seven great-grandchildren and another on the way; one brother, Bobbie Hunt (Sue Lucas) of Mexico; one niece, Robin (Philip) Gearhart of Prescott, Ariz.; and nephew, Aaron (Jenn) Hunt of Riverside, Calif. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, at the Auxvasse City Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim Graham officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. The family has requested that masks be worn. Memorials may be made to Auxvasse City Presbyterian Church or donor's choice.
