Lillian Rose Allan

Lillian Rose Allan, 100, absent from the body, present with the Lord, passed on February 2, 2021, at her home. She was born on August 5, 1920, in Breese, Illinois, a daughter of the late Alvin and Clara (Voshaller) Trierweiler. She was united in marriage to Stephen "Pop" Allan on June 3, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a 1938 graduate of Belleville High School in Belleville, Illinois. Lillian worked as a proofreader at Faithful Words in St. Louis. She was also employed as a grocery clerk in both St. Louis and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. For more than 30 years she has volunteered as a registrar at Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp in Vienna or in whatever capacity was needed. Lillian was a faithful member of Jefferson City Bible Chapel. She is survived by her four children, Dr. James Allan (Terry) of Jefferson City, Steve Allan (Karen) Turkey Hill Bible Camp, Judy Smith of Union and Trudy Allan Rockhold (Tim) of Turkey Hill Bible Camp; niece, Pat Houser of Rolla; grandchildren, Jonathan Smith (Kimberly), Seth Smith (Ann), Detsi Theurich (Gerhard), Daniel Allan (Holly), John Allan (Charlotte), Michael Allan (Rachael), Shayne Allan Froidl, Kerri Allan McWilson (Mike), Tracie Allan Promnitz (Wes), Jimmy Allan (Ashley), Andrew Rockhold (JoAnna) and Alison Rockhold Schwenke (Jon); 34 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Stephen "Pop" Allan; step-father, Master Sergeant Clyde Hobart, grandson, Matthew Rockhold; son-in-law, Phil Smith; sister, Alice Studnicka and nephew, Alvin Houser. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Hilke Millard Funeral Home, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Breeding Cemetery, Freeburg. Friends and family may virtually attend the service by going to millardfamilychapels.com on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. and selecting Lillian's tribute. Once there, select the photos/video button and the service will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp, Vienna, Missouri.
