Judith Ann Vieth, 81, of Wentzville, formerly of Fulton, left this earthly home on Monday, April 26, 2021. She now resides in the presence of her King, Christ Jesus. Judy was born on August 30, 1939, to the late Robert L. Underwood Sr. and the late Helen (Bailey) Underwood. On June 20, 1959, Judy was united in marriage to William "Bill" Vieth. He survives her passing. Judy was a Godly woman of unwavering faith. One look through her Bible would make it evident that she spent a great deal of time getting to know and love her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be remembered as a beautiful person who had a great love for her husband, a patient, firm, and loving mother, and a fun-loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Judy was a lover and kind caregiver to children in all walks of her life. She was a loving and accepting family member to her and Bill's sides of their family. Judy was a friend to many and gave freely of her time, and made you feel like you were important and mattered. She instilled these qualities and passions in her family and encouraged them to share them with everyone. Judy was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton. She spent her life supporting her family in their activities, be it sports, singing, playing piano, or crafting. Because of spiritual influence on her family, she will one day be reunited with her husband of 61 years, Bill; children, Christopher Vieth (Vickie) of Decatur, Ill.; Karen Higginbotham (Matt) of Wentzville, and Craig Vieth (Charlotte) of Richmond Hill, Ga.; brother, Robert L. Underwood Jr. (Rae) of Weldon Spring; grandchildren, Jared Vieth (Allison), Alyssa Fitzgerald (Michael) Levi Vieth, Jessica Higginbotham, Justin Higginbotham, Joshua Higginbotham, Lauren Vieth and Zachary Vieth; great-grandchildren, Jace Vieth, Gavin Vieth, and Liam Fitzgerald; and several nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at First Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Ronald E. Baker officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation are suggested to First Baptist Church, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
