John L. "Johnny" Williams

John L. "Johnny" Williams, 79, of California, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at SSM Health-St. Mary's in Jefferson City. He was born June 18, 1941, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of James Henry and Daisy Myrtle (Cain) Williams. He graduated Jefferson City High School. John was married to Rosemary Francis on November 29, 1963, at St. Louis, Mo. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. For many years, Johnny owned and operated William's Body Shop south of California. He also was a cattle farmer. John is survived by wife, Rosemary (Francis) Williams; two sons, Don C. Williams and James " Jim" L. Williams (Wendy); four grandchildren, Andrew Williams, Lauran Williams, Collin Williams, and Landon Williams, one great-granddaughter, Charolette "Charlie" Williams; two sisters, Judy Bailey and Linda Guilford; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Bob" Williams, and a sister, Kathy Yoder. Private Family Memorial Graveside Services will held at the California City Cemetery with Rev.
