Anthony Sr. J. Adduci

Anthony J. Adduci Sr., 71, of Rocky Mount, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. He was born on April 8, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. Anthony met his best friend and mother of his three great children in 1964. In 1969, he joined the United States Army on a buddy pact he made with his friend, Chuck. Anthony continued to serve our great nation until he retired in 1992. Anthony enjoyed his retirement until he took a job with the Missouri Department of Corrections in 1993. He worked various jobs within his institution until 1996 when he took a job at the DOC Training Academy until he retired again in 2010. Anthony and Pearl headed west where they enjoyed the mountains and panning for gold. In 2013, they moved back to Missouri where Anthony gave Pearl her house on the lake until his passing on September 9, 2020. Anthony, be advised your oath to defend this great nation is fulfilled. You may now walk your beat on heaven's street. He is survived by his wife, Pearlann; his two sons: Anthony J. Adduci of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Francis Michael (Angel) Adduci of Holts Summit; and his favorite daughter: Janet Leigh (BJ) Anderson of Wentzville, Missouri; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Darian), Lydia (Caleb), Alyssa, Pearl (Garrett), Jarod (Holly), Kyle, Abigail, Jakob, Samantha (Sammy from Miama) and one great-grandchild: Gracelynn. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to National Kidney Foundation.
