Jennifer Barbour, 35, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020, at St. Mary's Hospital due to Covid 19 complications. She was born on March 28, 1985, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Bill Barbour and Julie (Brandt) Schweer. Jennifer "Jen-Jen" was a 2003 graduate of Blair Oaks High School. She continued her education receiving an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. Jen was employed with GFI Digital in Jefferson City. Her GFI family was very important to her. She loved her job, her coworkers and GFI's compassion and generosity. Aunt Jen-Jen loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She attended every sporting event and school program she possibly could, she was a huge fan and supporter. Jen was a Kansas City Chiefs and Blair Oaks Falcon fan. She enjoyed bowling on the Westgate Jills League for many years. Jen is survived by her father and step-mother: Bill and Sharie Barbour; mother and step-father: Julie and Jim Schweer; two brothers: Joshua Barbour (Erin) and Jacob Schweer; grandmothers: Anna Findley, Reba Schweer, Nancy Alexander and Gail Lorber; grandfather: Irwin Lorber; nephews: Davis and Easton Barbour; nieces: Erica and Ellysa Schweer and Finley Barbour; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jen was preceded in death by grandparents: Norman and Viola Barbour, David Brandt, Edwin Schweer and Rudy Findley; and brother: Justin Schweer. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Fr. Ignazio C. Medina officiating. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Jennifer Barbour for her nieces and nephews educational funds.
