Ellen White

Ellen White, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020, in Boonville, surrounded by her loving family. Ellen had many interests in addition to her family. She and Bill were very involved in the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, traveling to many conventions and making lifelong friends. Ellen owned and operated a craft store for many years in Prairie Home as well serving for a long time with Weight Watchers. Ellen is survived by her husband, Bill of Boonville; son, Jimmie of Sweet Springs; daughter, Debbie of Barstow, California; sister, Frankie Roberts of Marshall; sister, Janice Walker of Norman, Oklahoma; sister, Joyce Rice of Norman, Oklahoma; and brother, John Byers of San Antonio, Texas, as well numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Macey Byers; sister, Carolyn; son, David; and daughter, Romona. The world was a better place with Ellen and her smile. She made people happy and was a great mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Graveside service will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Concord Cemetery in Jamestown, Missouri beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Boonslick Senior Center or Eagle Post 1022.
