Donald Timothy Suggett

Donald Timothy Suggett, 84, of New Bloomfield, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, at his home of natural causes. He was the son of Allen and Iva Suggett. He attended New Bloomfield High School but left prior to graduation to serve his country in the United States Navy in Korea. Upon his return he attended Missouri University. During the latter part of his life, he worked for the U.S. Post Office as a rural mail carrier. His first wife, Yvonne Marie Suggett, preceded him in death in 2012. He is survived by his three children: Lisa Williams (Kurt) of Holts Summit; a son, Timothy Suggett (Gaye) of Tebbetts; and a son, David Suggett (Chrissy) of St. James. He has six grandchildren: Tim Suggett, Amy Caples, Jodi Suggett, Ashley Suggett, Dustin Suggett and Shelby Suggett. He also has eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Hill Cemetery, New Bloomfield. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the New Bloomfield Christian Church.
