Bobby Lee Kenyon

Bobby Lee Kenyon, born May 21, 1931, passed from this life to the next on Sunday, May 3, 2020. Bobby was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force. At Boeing he worked with NASA on the first three space shuttle launches. He was later assigned to work with the Department of Defense on military consignment in Vietnam during the war. He retired from Boeing after 42 years. He leaves behind two daughters, Denise Chesky (Glasco, Kansas) and Renee Peters (Cincinnati, Ohio); eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He joins his parents, Wesley and Dorothy Kenyon, and brothers. A military committal service with honors will be held on July 6, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Springfield National Cemetery, Springfield, Mo.
