Judy Ann Douglas

Judy Ann Douglas, age 68, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020, after a brief illness. Judy was a wife, a mother of two children and a grandmother. Born in Kansas City, Mo., Judy and her husband Dan retired to the country in Grovesprings, Mo. where she could have "as many animals as she wanted." All her life, she was an avid lover of animals and rescuer of stray cats and dogs. Judy was a devoted wife who cared deeply for her family and neighbors. While she never had much, she was always the first to offer help and give anything she could to a worthwhile cause - church, animals, and veteran's causes to name a few. When she wasn't caring for her animals, she enjoyed sewing quilts by hand and cross-stitching. She was a faithful believer and is no doubt in heaven surrounded by loved ones. Judy is survived by her husband Dan; her son, Bryan Anderson; her daughter, Kendra Hanauer; and two grandchildren, Lily and Maddy. She will be greatly missed. No services are planned at this time.
