Carolyn Sue Weider, 77, of Jefferson City, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 22, 1943, in Jefferson City, a daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Rose Catherine (Kloeppel) Luebbert. Carolyn was united in marriage on June 16, 1962 in Jefferson City to Jesse L. Weider, who preceded her in death on October 25, 1996. Carolyn was a graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia and attended Metro Business College in Jefferson City. She was the love and support for her family on a daily basis. Carolyn was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City where she volunteered in many ways. Carolyn was a talented musician and played many instruments. She enjoyed weaving, traveling and was a published author and was member of a knitting club. Most of all, Carolyn cherished the times spent with her family. She is survived by her daughters: Shelley D. Todd (Tim) and Rebecca S. Profest (Robert); son: Chris L. Weider (Jeanne); sister: Jo Ann LaRusso (Tony); brothers: Larry H. Luebbert (Barbara) and Roger L. Luebbert (Carla); grandchildren: Quinn R. Weider-Rawson, Gabe J. Crump, Susan M. Stephenson (Migueal), Jenny M. Brader (Jonathan), Jesse L. Westcott (Kim), Erica L. Westcott, Raena E. Sword, Jay J. Westcott (Megan), Nikki M. Strattman (Scott), Sydney R. Woody (Addison); great-grandchildren: Kylie L. Person, Greyson L. Westcott, Aiden B. Porrett, Zane C. Westcott, Merindy C. Stephenson, Charli D. Stephenson, H. Maddie Strattman, Nate L. Strattman, Riley S. Strattman, Carter Davenport and Kinley M. Davenport. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother: Don L. Luebbert; and great-granddaughter: Olivia G. Westcott. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with a Rosary Service at 3:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr.
