William "Bill" Tometich

William "Bill" Tometich, 72, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019. Bill was born March 14, 1947, in Canton, Illinois to William H. and Mary Joann Bidle Tometich and they preceded him in death. He received his Bachelor's Degree in U.S. History from Lincoln University. Before retirement, Bill had been employed as Regional Manager for Nebraska Book Company and Store Manager for Follit Higher Education Corporation. He was a member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. Survivors include his daughters, Molly (Leon) Wulff of Westphalia and Jennifer (Lew) Odum of Peoria, Illinois; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Murphy and Bailey Backus and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Brielyn. Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m., January 11, 2020, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 803 Swifts Highway, Jefferson City, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time for the services.
