Gail J. Paceley

Gail J. Paceley, 66, of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at her home. She was born on November 12, 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late James and Suzanne (Harte) Jacobs. She was united in marriage to Russ Paceley, who preceded her in death. Gail was a 1971 graduate of Mount Lebanon High School in Mount Lebanon, near Pittsburgh. She received her bachelor's degree from William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri. Gail was employed as a Criminal Analyst with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and retired after 30 years of service in February of 2007. After retirement, she worked for Cole County Residential Services. Gail enjoyed raising and breeding Newfoundland dogs and was a member of the Newfoundland Dog Club. She is survived by her brother: James M. Jacobs Jr. (Cindy); sisters: Pamela Jacobs Patterson (John) and Ellen Jacobs Watson (John); and nieces, nephew and friends.
