Mary Sullivan Shoaf

Mary Sullivan Shoaf, 75, of Fulton, passed away at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics on Thursday, February 6, 2020. She was born in Caruthersville, Missouri on January 30, 1945 to the late Rowe Estes and the late Virginia (Gann) Estes. Mary was united in marriage to Ron Shoaf on January 18, 1997. He survives her passing. Mary worked as a secretary in the mental health field at Fulton State Hospital and Central Office in Jefferson City. Many years ago, she played bluegrass music with the Rooster Creek Show. Mary enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She skyped every day with a grandchild and used social media to stay connected to her loved ones. In addition to her husband of 23 years, Mary will be missed by sons, Bill Sullivan (Wendy) of Jefferson City, and Brian Shoaf of Columbia; daughters, Lesa Tittle (Tommy) of Branson, Laura Shoaf of Fulton, and Jennifer Renner (Robbie) of Fulton; sister, Rosa Lee Metzger of Camdenton; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, James Estes. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
