Theresa Louise Tanner

Theresa Louise Tanner, age 79, of New Bloomfield, Missouri, formerly of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born January 24, 1941 in Osage County, Missouri, a daughter of Harry Herman and Theresa Loraine (Bebroeck) Adrian. On April 8, 1961 in Cole County, Missouri, she was united in marriage to John Richard Tanner. Together they shared the past 59 years of marriage. Theresa was raised and lived most of her life in Jefferson City, Missouri. In 1999, she and Dick retired to their favorite place, Lake of the Ozarks. Recently, poor health caused them to relocate to New Bloomfield, Missouri. She was an avid antique collector and enjoyed music. She loved the lake and was happiest while she was there. Most of all, spending time with her family brought her joy. Survivors include her husband, John "Dick" Tanner of the home; five sons, Rodney Dale Tanner and partner Katherine Morin of Columbia, Missouri, Matthew Adrian Tanner and wife Alece of Dallas, Texas, Clayton Allen Tanner and wife Heather of Holts Summit, Missouri, Clinton John Tanner and wife Jill of St. Louis, Missouri and Luke William Tanner of Overland Park, Kansas; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Gertrude Lepage of Russellville, Missouri; two brothers, Harry Adrian Jr. of Ottawa, Illinois and Roger Adrian of Jefferson City, Missouri; and a host of other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Loraine Dawdy and Louise Kempker. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
