Luke H. Fick, age 60, of Loose Creek, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020, at his residence. Luke was born July 27, 1960, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Joseph J. and Loretta "Dorothy" (Scheulen) Fick. Luke was a 1978 graduate of Linn High School. Luke was employed by Ferrellgas in Loose Creek for 40 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek. Luke enjoyed drinking beer, barbecuing, driving county roads, socializing with people, watching his favorite tv show - Andy Griffith, working on the farm and baling hay, bowling, and he was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Luke is survived by: one son: Jeff Fick and his wife Ashley of Loose Creek; two daughters, Megan Haslag and her husband Shaun of Bonnots Mill, and Cami Bowman and her husband Anthony of Loose Creek; seven grandchildren, Carson and Chloe Fick, Makenna, Savanna, and Aliza Haslag, Mila Hagedorn and Corbin Bowman; two brothers, Mark Fick and his wife Teresa of Columbia and Matt Fick and his wife Linda of Chamois; four sisters, Carol Cronhardt and her husband Jack of Columbia, Ellen Little of Richmond, Texas, Rose Backes and her husband Terry of Linn, and Mary Peters-Koenigsfeld and her husband Andy of Bonnots Mill; one brother-in-law, Glenn Backes of Frankenstein; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Luke was preceded in death by one sister, JoAnn Backes, and one brother-in-law, Carter Peters Jr. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. Colin Franklin as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. George Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Family of Luke H. Fick.
