Kelton Raymond Sellars, 17, of Jefferson City, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. He was born on August 8, 2002, in Jefferson City, a son of Dennis and Tamra (Brandt) Sellars. Kelton attended Trinity Lutheran school and was currently a junior at Calvary Lutheran High School. He was a gifted athlete and was a member of the basketball, and baseball teams and loved to play golf. His true passion was for baseball. When he wasn't playing sports or fishing, he worked at Railway Golf Club as a caddy and was the "cart guy". He leaves behind a multitude of friends and "second Moms" who will miss him greatly. His family has lost a most beloved son, nephew and cousin but know that he is in the presence of his Savior and reunited with his grandparents. He is survived by his parents: Dennis and Tamra Sellars; paternal grandmother: Patricia Pope; maternal grandfather: Warren Brandt (Diane); brothers: Marcus Minnick and Samuel Sellars; uncles: Melvin Sellars (Sherry) and Wade Brandt (Karen); aunts: Laura Robinson (Scott) and Karen Schepker (Larry); and many cousins, family and friends. Kelton is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Melvin Sellars and maternal grandmother: Lois Brandt. In keeping with the guidelines of the CDC, friends can be received from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. When you come on the parking lot at the funeral home you will remain in your car and be directed around to the front Portico at Houser Millard Funeral Home. You will be shown where to stop under the Portico to view through the picture window. This will help accommodate family and friends in a safe manner and will be a way to show your respect in these unusual times. You may take a Memorial Service Folder and leave a personalized message for family through video streaming. Private family services will be held with interment at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Stringtown. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Family of Kelton R. Sellars.
