She was employed with Dillards until her retirement. Marcella enjoyed music, dancing, gardening and playing games. Her cooking and baking skills were renown and her sugar cookies can't be replicated, though many have tried. She was a "mother" to many and had the gift to make anyone feel like family. Hollaway (Cathy) of Jefferson City; daughters: Kimberly Becker of Bonnots Mill and Sherry Hoelscher of Jefferson City; sister: Catherine Tanasz of Florida; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend: Lee Hollaway; daughter: Karen Ann Licko; sons: John David Hollaway and Steven Lee Hollaway; grandson: Jesse Cole Meller; sister: Virginia M. Matejkowski; brother: David Wimmer; her parents and grandparents. Private family services will be held with interment in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
