Larry Wayne Summers, 62, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at his home. He was born on May 10, 1957, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of Isaac and Mary (Tetters) Summers. He was united in marriage to Carolyn DeBrodie, August 22, 1992, in Jefferson City, Missouri. Larry graduated from Jefferson City High School. He was a loving husband and father, who enjoyed fishing and playing with nieces and nephews. Larry cherished the moments watching Bar Rescue with Nick. His jokes and teasing will be dearly missed. He loved spending time with his favorite people; his wife and son. He is survived by his wife: Carolyn of the home; children: Nicolas Wayne Clark, Nathan Clark and Wanda Howard; brothers: Bobby Summers and John Summers (Lisa); sisters: Mary Jane Schrum and Carol Samson (Roger); grandchildren: Amy Howard. DLarry was preceded in death by his parents: Isaac and Mary Summers; brothers: Johnnie Morgan, Allen Summers, Terry Summers and Jerry Summers; Carl DeBrodie and Kimberly Bond. Larry's family and friends were very important to him. In keeping with the guidelines of the CDC the family is going to do a private service after a viewing for friends and coworkers from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2020, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. When you come on the parking lot at the funeral home you will remain in your car and be directed around to the front Portico at Houser Millard Funeral Home. You will be shown where to stop under the Portico to view through the picture window. This will help accommodate family and friends in a safe manner and will be a way to show your respect in these unusual times. You may take a Memorial Service Folder and leave a personalized message for family through video streaming.
