Marilyn Sue Kennedy

Marilyn Sue Kennedy, 78, of Jefferson City, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 21, 1941, in Jefferson City, a daughter of the late Clement and Augusta (Gerling) Morgan. For 30 years Marilyn was a school bus driver for Student First. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, winning big at bingo, and cooking for her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Donald B. Kennedy (Laura), Tammy Lynn Kennedy, and Tyra Ann Kennedy; brothers: Larry Morgan, Gerald Morgan (Velda), Ronnie Morgan, and Raymond Morgan (Diane); grandchildren: Rane Williams, Terrence Sykes, Abigail Kennedy and Samuel Kennedy. Marilyn was preceded in death by her siblings: Orvel, Carol, Roger and Linda Kay Morgan. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Prayer Service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at Our Lady of Snows Cemetery on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Family of Marilyn Kennedy.
