Jackson Daniel Stuckenschneider Careaga, 18, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019. He was born July 18, 2001, in Jefferson City, the son of Jacob Daniel and Anika Christa (Stuckenschneider) Careaga. Jackson was currently in his senior year at Helias Catholic High School. He was a member of the Helias wrestling team and cross country team, and a member of the Frassati Fraternity. He was also a lifelong member of St. Peter Catholic Church where he was an altar server. Jackson was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his parents, Jacob and Anika Careaga, Jefferson City; five siblings, Katerina, Nikolai, Aleksandr, Anneliese, Maksim; his maternal grandparents, Don and Linda Stuckenschneider, Jefferson City; his paternal grandfather, Andrew Wang, Springfield, Mo.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Diane Careaga. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Jeremy Secrist and the Rev. Joshua Duncan concelebrating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Frassati Fraternity, Tri-Cap Wrestling Club, Helias Catholic High School or St. Peter Interparish Catholic School.
