Gwendolyn Kay Terrill, 65, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at her home. She was born on August 21, 1954 in Armstrong, Missouri, a daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude (Lee) Terrill. She was a 1972 graduate of Fayette High School. For many years she worked in the healthcare industry, was a pre-school teacher and before retirement she was a clerk at Lincoln University. Gwendolyn enjoyed playing dominoes, spades, tonk, and bingo. She loved to dance and "tried" really hard to sing on key. She was an amazing cook and her fried chicken and onions will be greatly missed by family and friends. Most of all, Gwendolyn loved her family and the time spent with them. She is survived by her children: Frachon Terrill of Jefferson City and Lance Terrill (Gretchen) of Columbia; siblings: Glenda D. Terrill of Jefferson City, W.H. Tyrone Terrill of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Al Terrill Sr. of Columbia; grandchildren: Keyon, Aireon, Aaron and Juquon Terrill; great-grandchildren: Jenyiah Nickerson, Kaiveon Terrill, Delaney Terrill, Alina Terrill, and Daimion Terrill; special aunt, Alva Wilson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and uncle William "Sonny" Terrill; her close nephews and niece: Anthony, Whitney, Phillip, A.J., and Xavier; special friends: James Hord family; and a host of other friends and family and her beloved church family at Second Christian Church. Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Home Going Celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
