Robert Arnold "Bob" Livingston, 64, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at his home. Bob was born April 23, 1955 in Mexico, the son of John Knox Livingston II and Pauline O. Pena Livingston. On June 21, 2008 in Mexico, he married Kellie (Ball) George. Mr. Livingston was a 1973 graduate of Mexico High School. He operated Livingstons Electric for many years until working at Audrain Medical Center in the Maintenance Department. He also worked at Mexico Electric, Poet Biorefining and most recently at Boone Hospital Center, retiring from there in 2017. Bob had been a member of the Lions Club, where he served as a board member. He enjoyed taking care of his land and home and loved fishing. Bob had many talents and could fix anything. He was never scared of a challenge, had much to offer wherever he was, and was a great teacher. Survivors include his wife, Kellie Livingston of the home; one son, Chad (Edna) Livingston of St. Martins; one granddaughter, Mabel Livingston; one step-daughter, Sara George and her five children, all of Fulton; one brother, John Livingston III of Mexico; one sister, Mary (Don) Monson of Edmond, Oklahoma; step-father, Alby Baclesse of Mexico; his in-laws, Buck and Doris Ball of Mexico; and one brother-in-law, Darren (Debra) Ball of Arkansas. Bob was preceded in death by his father, John Livingston II; his mother, Pauline Baclesse; and his grandmother, Miriam Arnold Edmonston. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, at Arnold Funeral Home with Brother Steve Miller officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
