Waneta J. Mertgen, age 73, of Florence died Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at her home. She is survived by her husband, Bill Mertgen; children, LaVonda (Robert) Barnett, LaVern Mertgen and Ernie (Sonya) Mertgen; siblings, Cody (Kay) Randall, Ronald (Donna) Randall and Vickey (Walt) Worthley; five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the St. John UCC in Florence with burial in the St John UCC Cemetery.
