Glenda F. Zeugin, 80, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Heisinger Bluffs. She was born on July 17, 1938 in Osage County, the daughter of the late Glen Franklin and Reta Golden (Staley) Wolfe. Glenda was united in marriage on May 17, 1976 to Donald I. Zeugin, who preceded her in death on December 24, 2014. She attended Osage County Schools and graduated from Linn High School in 1956. Glenda worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation from 1968 to 1970 and then for the Department of Revenue, Division of Motor Vehicle until her retirement in 2003. She also worked part-time for Scholastic from 1990 to 2004. Glenda was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and square dancing with friends. Glenda was a self-taught seamstress who took delight in making clothes for her family. Most of all, she cherished the times spent with her family and friends. Glenda is survived by her son: James Gieck of Holts Summit; daughter: Jill Nicholson (Dean) of Taos; step-daughter: Debbie McCoy of Jefferson City; three step-sons: Darrell (Brenda) Zeugin of Jefferson City, Daniel (Chuck) Zeugin of Ft. Meyers, Florida and Douglas (Aby) Zeugin of Ashland; four grandchildren: Jennifer Wibberg (Albert) Jackson Gieck, Samuel Gieck, and Justin Engelbrecht; five step-grandchildren: Melissa Harbian, Jennifer Zeugin, Randi Robinett, Drew Zeugin, and Colin Zeugin; two great-grandchildren: Savannah Wibberg and Michelle Wibberg; and one step-great-grandchild: Ava Feely. She was preceded in death by twin grandchildren: Hannah and Jacob Gieck. Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with Rev. Jeannie Martin Dudenhoeffer officiating. Interment will follow in Mint Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the First United Methodist Church.
