Mable I. Farmer, 76, of Henley, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019, at her residence in Henley, Missouri. She was born October 23, 1942, in Tuscumbia, Missouri, the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Williams) Bittle. On August 28, 1959, in Henley, Missouri she was united in marriage to LeeRoy Farmer who survives of the home. Other survivors include; daughters, Rita Rippee (Randy) of California, Mo., Therese Morris (David) of Henley, Mo, Pamela Jones of Jefferson City, Mo., Vicki Humphreys (James) of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; brothers, William Bittle (Josephine), Curtis Bittle, David Bittle; sisters, Mary Kathleen Petet, Barbara Sloan, Francis Beam, Martha Suttie Two sons, Roderic and James Farmer; two sisters, Queen Gaither and Gladys Calfee; and one infant brother, Alfred preceded her in death. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church. Mable loved to cook, garden and quilt. Visitation will be Monday, February 25, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary's Home, Mo. with a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church with Rev. Alex Gabriel officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery. Memorials in her name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic School. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
