Dallas Gene Miller

Dallas Gene Miller, 67, Columbia, Mo., passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at his home in Columbia, Mo. Dallas was born on November 9, 1951, in Anoka, Mn., the son of Richard Schramm and Yvonne (Pemberton) Schramm. He was married on November 11, 1972, in Fulton, Mo. to Rebecca Bailey. Dallas was a veteran of the US Army, retiring from the Army Corp of Engineers on December 31, 1989. He then worked as a supervisor for Jack Hood Transportation. He was an enrolled member of the White Earth Reservation. Survivors include: his wife of 46 years, Rebecca Miller of the home; four children, Heather Alley (Rob) of Hallsville, Mo., Gene Miller of Turtle Lake, Wis., Cory Miller (Jody) of Hatton, Mo. and Dustin Miller of Columbia, Mo.; his father, Richard Schramm of James Island, S.C.; three sisters, Rochelle Pittman (Corey) of Coon Rapids, M.N., Roxanne Bryant of Eutawville, S.C., and Leslie Hennion (Ron) of James Island, S.C.; and five grandchildren, Brette (Chris), Brooke, Corynne, Cade and Greta. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Schramm. Memorial service was held on Friday, February 22, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Rising Sun Baptist Church, 1901 MO-DD, Auxvasse, Mo. with Rev.
